Requesting a Release Takedown
At Extrinsic Music Group, we recognize that artists and rights holders may, at times, need to revise their distribution strategy. When such decisions arise, we provide a secure and deliberate process to ensure releases can be withdrawn responsibly and efficiently.
To request a takedown of a release from active distribution: Please contact the Extrinsic Music support team or your assigned agent, who will initiate the takedown and manage the process on your behalf.
Once the request has been submitted, digital stores will process the takedown within 1–14 business days, depending on each platform’s operational timelines.
Things to Consider
- Individual tracks cannot be taken down from a multi-track release; submitting a takedown request will result in the removal of the entire album or project.
- Takedown timelines may vary by store and are not directly controlled by Extrinsic Music.
- If you require a takedown from specific stores only, the Extrinsic Music support team or your assigned agent will provide dedicated assistance.
