At Extrinsic Music Group, we recognize that artists and rights holders may, at times, need to revise their distribution strategy. When such decisions arise, we provide a secure and deliberate process to ensure releases can be withdrawn responsibly and efficiently.
To request a takedown of a release from active distribution:
◆ Sign in to your Extrinsic Music Group account.
◆ Navigate to the Distribution section on the left-hand panel.
◆ Locate the release you intend to remove.
◆ Click the Details button next to the release.
◆ Select the Contract option to review associated terms.
◆ Choose Takedown, and confirm your decision when prompted.
Following confirmation, please allow several business days for the request to be reflected across all partnered digital service providers. This ensures full compliance with delivery pipelines and operational timelines.
