How to Add an Artist
Artist profiles are an essential part of Extrinsic Music Group, ensuring seamless release delivery and accurate royalty distribution. Any individual listed as a main artist, featured artist, or royalty recipient must have an account within our platform.
Adding an Artist to the Label
To add an artist to Extrinsic Music Group, you must coordinate with your assigned manager. Your manager will handle the onboarding process and ensure that the artist is properly integrated into our system.
If you only need to add someone as a collaborator (e.g., featured artist, producer, instrumentalist), you must discuss this with your manager before proceeding.
Royalty Splits & Collaborator Agreements
All royalty splits and financial agreements with collaborators must be defined by the primary artist or label.
- If you specify a split within our platform, payments will be handled accordingly.
- If you do not specify a split, you are fully responsible for handling payments externally through your own contracts or agreements.
How to Add an Artist
1. Adding an Artist Through Your Manager
To add an artist to the label:
- Contact your manager with the artist’s details.
- The manager will review and handle the onboarding process.
2. Adding a Collaborator
For featured artists, producers, or other contributors:
- Discuss the addition with your manager.
- If necessary, specify their royalty split within the system.
- If no split is defined, it remains your responsibility to compensate them externally.
