Royalty Transparency & Cost Structure Overview
At Extrinsic Music Group, we operate on principles of transparency, integrity, and artist empowerment. Our financial framework is built to support creators without burdening them with hidden fees or restrictive terms. This overview outlines our royalty system, cost-free model, and where our responsibility ends — so you can make fully informed decisions.
◎ Zero Upfront Costs
We charge nothing to begin. From onboarding to release, there are no initial or hidden fees. Our cost-free structure includes:
∿ Unlimited release submissions
∿ Artist & label onboarding
∿ Metadata verification
∿ Access to your full release and royalty dashboard
We don’t believe in charging creators to access opportunity.
◎ Commission-Based Model
Our compensation is purely performance-driven:
∿ A flat 10% commission is applied to royalties earned through streaming
∿ Only taken once royalties are received from DSPs
∿ No deductions on sync licensing, publishing, or physical sales
We succeed only when your music performs — no exceptions.
◎ What Our Commission Covers
The 10% commission directly supports:
∿ Global DSP distribution
∿ Contract generation & tracking
∿ Real-time royalty data
∿ Artist & collaborator payouts
∿ Automated splits and revenue statements
∿ ISRC/UPC assignment & content mapping
∿ Creator support & infrastructure
There are no upsells or hidden service tiers. Everything is included.
◎ Splits & Payout Structure
Royalty splits for collaborators, producers, artists, and labels are calculated after the 10% commission is applied. This ensures:
∿ Complete transparency
∿ Automated, accurate splits
∿ No manual payment handling required by the label
Each party receives what they are owed — every time.
◎ Responsibility Disclaimer
⚠️ Please Note
Extrinsic Music Group does not directly handle royalty ingestion or DSP revenue processing.

∿ No paywalls
∿ No surprise deductions
