Release Submission Guide

Extrinsic Music Group collects all files and information needed to prepare and release your music on digital platforms. To make the process smooth and avoid delays, we require your audio, cover art, and detailed release metadata via supported file transfer services.

Important: Only use WeTransfer.com or SwissTransfer.com. No Google Drive links or other file-sharing services are accepted. You can either:

Send the transfer link to upload@extrinsicmusicgroup.com
Or attach the files directly to the email (if not Google Drive-based)

What We Require

We need the following for each release:

1. Mastered Stereo Audio File

Format: .wav
Bit depth: 16 or 24-bit
Sample rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz

2. Cover Art

Must be square (minimum 3000 x 3000 pixels)
Accepted formats: .jpeg or .png

3. Artist & Collaborator Details

Main Artist and any Associated Performers
Featured Artist Spotify URI and display name
Other collaborators with their roles (e.g., Producer, Lyricist, Violinist)
Specify if the artist already has a store account

4. Metadata

Please include the following in your submission:

Submission Instructions

Prepare your audio file, cover art, and metadata as described above.
Upload all files to WeTransfer.com or SwissTransfer.com.
Either send the transfer link or attach the files (not Google Drive).
Include all requested metadata in the body of the email or in a text file.
Verify all information is correct before sending to upload@extrinsicmusicgroup.com.
