How Long Will It Take to Review and Approve My Release?
Review and Approval Process
To maintain high-quality standards and prevent distribution issues, we conduct quality control checks on all releases before they reach DSPs.
Your release will typically be reviewed within 1–5 days, but we require a minimum lead time of seven working days to ensure everything is properly processed and delivered without delays.
Why Does the Review Process Take Time?
We take multiple steps to ensure a smooth release process:
- Quality Control – We verify metadata, audio files, and artwork to meet industry standards.
- DSP Compliance – Ensuring your release aligns with the guidelines of all major streaming platforms.
- Error Prevention – Avoiding potential distribution issues that could impact visibility or revenue.
- Copyright & Licensing Checks – Verifying that all content complies with legal requirements and that proper rights are in place.
- Fraud Detection – Screening for artificial streaming and other fraudulent activities that could lead to penalties or takedowns.
- Release Timing Optimization – Ensuring your release is correctly scheduled so it appears on stores at the right time.
Recommended Preparation
To avoid last-minute issues, we recommend submitting your release at least two weeks in advance, allowing time for review, approval, and any necessary adjustments.
For the best promotional results, consider submitting at least three weeks ahead of your release date to allow DSP curators ample time to review and potentially feature your music.
